‘’Oh! My Princess 2018’’ Princess Cruises & TIPC Invited Breast Cancer Patients to Fulfill Travel Dreams Onboard

[December 12, 2018 - Taipei, Taiwan] In a Taiwan Breast Cancer Alliance survey, the top wish for relapsed or transferred patients is “long haul travel”. In response, Princess Cruises, the leading international premium cruise line committed to great memories at sea, collaborates again with Port of Keelung, Taiwan International Ports Corporation, Ltd. in a charity event ‘’Oh! My Princess 2018’’. It today invited Taiwan Breast Cancer Alliance and its patients to have a runway show on Diamond Princess in white gown to be a Princess on stage. They demonstrated a different style of beauty and confidence with positive energy, and experienced luxury cruise travel. Stuart Allison, Princess Cruises senior vice president, Asia Pacific Commercial & Operations and secretary of the member of the Legislative Yuan Shih-Ying Tsai, ChiaFu Chen, also participated in this charity event. Princess Cruises and TIPC also sponsored two 9-day Diamond Princess packages for two patients to fulfill their long-haul travel dreams.

In white gown, breast cancer patients elegantly walked into Princess Theater, the large performance venue at Sea. The audience was touched and impressed by their confidence and elegance, and congratulated them with standing ovations. “We are happy to be so pretty,” said Ms. Cheng. “We really enjoy this runway show on a luxury cruise with family and friends. Diamond Princess showcases premium amenities and convenient facilities, so we can travel together with loved ones easily.”

At the end of event, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Commercial & Operations, Stuart Allison, Princess Cruises Taiwan Regional Director, Peter Chen, General Manager of Port of Keelung    Taiwan International Ports Corporation, Ltd, Shi-Zong Liu, and President of Taiwan Breast Cancer Alliance, Shu-Fang Huang lighted up a “dream diamond” installation together. It implied breast cancer patients and Diamond Princess voyage shining like diamonds in their life journeys. Two lucky patients were drawn to fulfill their cruise travel dreams.

The Japan-style Diamond Princess initiated its services at Port of Keelung in November 2018 and will resume in February 2019 with special 9-day itineraries.
